Move to a new host Build a better store
Choose this option if your site is on StoreFront Hosting and you want to continue using StoreFront, but on a different hosting service. Choose this option if you want out of StoreFront and into a better store. Compare StoreFront to AbleCommerce.

We will...

  • Transfer all your files to your new website server.
  • Transfer your database to your new database server.
  • Work with your domain registrar to transfer your website name to your new website server.
  • Work with your new hosting service to install your SSL certificate on your new website server.
  • Re-create your existing e-mail accounts on your new mail server.

The whole process will take about 4 days after work starts. Downtime can be as short as 4 hours.

All work is performed on a time and materials contract. We will provide a detailed bid so you know exactly what to expect.

We will...

  • Purchase new AbleCommerce 7.0 or BV Commerce Toolkit license for your store.
  • Install AbleCommerce or BV Commerce on your website server.
  • Import and verify your current product catalog. See what's converted.
  • Import and verify your existing customers. See what's converted.
  • Import and verify your existing orders. See what's converted.
  • Configure your new store to provide the same (or similar) contact information, email templates, shipping methods, and payment options as your existing StoreFront store.
  • Create new affiliate accounts to match your current StoreFront affiliates. (Current affiliate commissions will not be imported)
  • Implement URL redirects so current search engine URLs are redirected to your new AbleCommerce or BV Commerce URLs.
  • Customize the colors and company logo of an included theme to match the colors and logo of your existing website. See the Options below if you would like a custom theme.
  • Work with your domain registrar to transfer your website name to your new website server.
  • Work with your new hosting service to install your SSL certificate on your new website server.
  • Re-create your existing e-mail accounts on your new mail server.

The whole process will take 1-2 weeks after work starts. Downtime will be about 24 hours.
